  This is a great place to get your supplies.
  Ray and his place are not pretentious in any way. For homebrewers who just need supplies this is a simple way to get them without having to wait for it to get shipped. Majority of his customers know what they need.
  My advice is to go there know what you want and ask for it or you can get it yourself. He doesn't mind.
  I suppose it's a different Shopping experience than we're all used too, it's not like Best Buy or some other big box store.

  Initially found this place while searching for a place to get a CO2 tank filled. I'd never brewed before so I was a little confused regarding the layout until I bought my first grains, hops and yeast.
  
  The first 2 times I needed my hand held through the whole process; so if I didn't have Rays attention or time to wait for other customers to be served I can see someone writing a bad review until you get a lay of the land.
  
  Walk in and head towards the right. It looks like you're not supposed to be there but...The grains are all in buckets; the dust is powder from all of the crushed grains (which you can do yourself or wait and Ray will do it for you) which is on a table to the right of the Kegs. Hops and yeast is in a fridge over to the side. Poke around and get a feel for all the options or just start weighing out and crushing your grains. It's close and simple; once you're over the intimidation of "all this stuff".

  Ray is a great guy, very knowledgeable, really interested in helping his customers. But please be patient, he's a one-man-show and does everything himself. If you go there, don't be in a rush. Look around, sit down and listen to what's being discussed...you may learn something. And when Ray gets done with the five other people there before you, he'll give you his undivided attention.
